Blocks - Having problems with a block? Code doesn't work, get help here.

Scroling block

Hi i wana make scroling block simple block in wich i can put some name wich gona scroll like here in download but when i put some codes it says tag u have enterd are not allowed? so any block ..i want to scroll some names up or down thanks

Let me guess you are trying to make a block using the custom block within blocks administration? Well guess what that isn't going to work. Heres a simple solution though even though it is a bit simplistic....

Make the block using HTML then use the block creator on this site. It works great I have used it a few times on my site. It works great and the blocks it creates shouldn't be an issue with any version of nuke.

html?

can i get any scroling html file or some codes thanks

I could just answer this by giving you the code however I want you to learn for yourself. Try doing a search on google for scrolling marquee.

block problem

um i have the same problem with the tag issue it only happens on 7.4 and 7.5 what is the deal i have used every marquee code out there and html and php with the block creator nope...... tags not allowed so for now all i can do is use pre made blocks until this is resolved i am running nco 75 Crying or Very sad

This is NOT an nCo modified Issue this is a PHP-Nuke Issue end of story and it's not an issue at all. I suggect learning how to write blocks properly and not use HTML Sentinel and other protection scripts including Nukes own union tap do not allow most html tags. This is a price we all have to pay for more security and less of a chance of being hacked. No the correct way of writing a block isn't to stick HTML in a block and off we go, it's not called HTML-Nuke.

SCROLLING BLOCKS

ok well i know i cant use html anymore i have used discipals block creator and all i get is the $ is not allowed or < that tag

Sounds to me like you aren't setting the code up right then... make sure you have one statement per line and that the statement is complete!
