BB Code Box
I have searched the forums and could not find the topic.. I do recall seeing something about code box somewhere here though.. I am interested in applying this mod but while reading the install text it says tested only on bb 2.0.3.. I am almost current with bb 2.0.19 I am waiting for the nuke code realease on bb 2.0.20.... My question is what will this mod do to my forums and is there a version that is made for the later bb patches?? I see at the top of my message that you have a mod installed for bb is this code box?? I wish to apply this mod because I do not want to allow html format in the forums but I want to be able to center things.. Thanks in advance for your help...
Once you upgrade your forums to 2.0.20 which should be out in a couple days. Simply follow the directions that come with the hack. There is nothing to worry about security wise as you are just adding some instructions to the bbcode and adding a javascript and some images. I wouldn't use it on this site if I didn't think it was secure.

Ok I am all upgraded now and I installed the code box hack.. I read the instructions which stated if you have not installed any other hacks to the bbcode you could skip the edit portion and simply install the files in The contrib file into the files specified.. I did so and nothing happened. The center and added features weren't added is there something I missed?? I do not use the subsilver template in forums I use Black enuff Red Is that the file I need to edit or add the addotional inforamtion
LOL sorry to have wasted your space here I figured it out.. Incase anyone else tries this hack besure to install the contents of the contrib file to the template you are actually using
