No php Mail
I posted this here because this has nothing to do with Nuke but I am having issues with this on a new server and maybe someone here can explain a reason for this.
One of my new websites (hosted by NZWebIT) has no php email capabilities. Nothing in phpNuke will email. I tried installing postNuke to see if it was an issue with my istallation of phpNuke and it does not email anything either (Contact Us, Feedback, Email Users, Emial on Private Message, Nothing). My website is hosted by the same people but on a different server. I copied the ENTIRE installation of the new website onto my website without changing anything but the name of the database and settings.php stuff to reflect my account and php email works just fine.
This is a server issue and so far, NZWebIT trying to find a fix for this. But I know that the plethra of knowlege here might know of what this problem is.
It sounds like the server doesn't have the php mail functions turned on. There is nothing you can do about this at the user level. php would in all probabillity need to be recompiled with the mail functions turned on. Something a server admin would have to do.
