user info problem
Hi,
"little" question, our site recently got hacked several times, and allthough i had a backup, i didn't use it to prevent malicious code getting into the new site, so i started all over again, from scratch.
Finished, in about 1 night
, and everything worked well. Later i added some features, and it still worked well, till i suddenly noticed something, in the user info block you can see that new members registered on the site, how many registered and when that happened, but you can't see that the site has visitors nor members on it. Those counters in the user info block stay solid at 0, always.Now i've been brainstorming about this, and can't seem to figure it out.
I believe it has something to do with the sessions table in my sql database, or maybe with cookies, or maybe nukesentinel. Beats me, but i don't get it.
When there are members on the forum, you can see them lined up at the bottom of the forum, as guest or admin or mod, but not in the user info block.
I also used several user info blocks, and none of them showed me people online.
I also activated the who's online block, but this also shows 0 all the time.
Can someone give me a solution here plz?

From phpMyAdmin try doing a REPAIR of the sessions table.
How?

Nvm, i repaired it, but it didn't help.
Just a guess, i see that my site sessions table isn't populated, but my forum session table is, can i combine those two and would that work (i.e. putting all the data from the forum table in the nuke table)?

Well, my crusade still didn't stop lol, so i came accross a block and edited a bit, and now the user info block shows me who last registered, when that happened, and how many registered people we have.
IT STILL DOESN'T SHOW HOW MANY MEMBERS,PEOPLE ARE ONLINE NOR THE TOTAL OF THEM.
But in the who is where section it shows people visiting our site and where, and it shows members online and where they are plus it shows which admins are online.
So now i'm like : WTF (scuse the language) stupid block can show me in the where but not in the online now
I'm out of ideas.
