Creating a Nuke Install Package
I'm starting a webhosting reseller business. I'll be building many php-nuke based sites. Most of the sites that I'll be creating will use several common blocks and modules and be configured very similarly.
My question is, can I create a "build" that already has certain blocks, modules and themes added while others are removed by defaults ?
If so, is there an already written guide, whitepaper or post somewhere that can assist me in getting started ?

We will be happy to assist you on this project all we ask for in return is a link on your main website and to be allowed to post the final product on NukeCode. Just tell us what you want in the package and we will make it for you. It would be allot easier then trying to explain step by step. If you do want us to explain step by step then we will be glad to do that as well. It does not take long to build a NUKE about 8 hours is what it took to build nCo Modified PHP-Nuke 7.3.

There's several blocks and modules that I'll be using that you do not have here on your site for download. Would you like for those items, that I simply provide a link to where to get them ? or perhaps I could just build you the sample site and allow you access to it with the understanding that I would like the ability to build additional sites based on this as my template ? Whatever works best and is easiest for you.
And I will be most happy to provide a link back to NukeCode in my affiliates box. In fact, as part of the build, I'll specify that Nukecode be included in THOSE affiliate boxes as well. As far as you telling me the steps on how, I would prefer that. That way I would know how to do updates or modifications in the future.
And lastly, as far as you being able to provide the download here for this build, I wouldn't have a problem with it.
You can send me whatever info you like, via email which I will send you in a PM. Also include any blocks, modules and themes you may want in the install. We have a small staff 3 people so we don't really have the time to hunt things down so if you can send us what you want we would be grateful. One thing I will say is every build we make has the NSN IP Banner if you don't want it please let us know.
Do you want the stock themes left intact?
Im assuming you would want the build based on 7.3 with all of chatservs patches included.
I will send you an email after the build is complete on how to do updates etc although it shouldn't vary from any other version of PHP-Nuke.
Building a Nuke isn't hard it's just very time consuming and you need a good understanding of the makeup of PHP-Nuke and it's Database. So you know which items to add and/or remove when making changes to the system. Leaving behind unneeded tables after removing a module won't do any real harm... it will just bloat the database. If you don't need em take em out.
