GD Extension
now from what i am told most hosts already have this installed on there server but the company i am with right now doesnt have it installed. is there a way i can dl this somewhere and install it myself ? if so where could i go about getting my hands on it ?
The GD extension is part of PHP (not to be confused with phpnuke) it must be compiled as part of PHP when it is setup on the server.
The answer would therefore be no. If your host hasn't compiled it as part of php (for reasons I couldn't imagine) and if they won't then I would consider a new host.
