A weird error

Getting a" cannot post from another site error". I have never seen this before and do not know where it could be coming from. It keep s me from adjusting anything in the admin or my account as well as in the forum Admin ACP

You need to supply us with what version of php-nuke you are using and if you have applied any patches to said site. Provide us with this information and we can help you.

yes, i loaded nco ultra and then the patch to update the code to a more recent patch. I have even removed the .htaccess and the .staccess to see if they were holding me out but they arent. it is of course the nco ultra 7.6 with your patch. If you would like the info to log in as admin to see the errors PM me and i can give you my admin info.

Ok first off I read in another post this was to replace stock 7.6. First question to you is did you delete you old database and make a new one to run your sql file from when you installed the new NcO Ultra 7.6? You cant use your old database with this build you must use the sql file provided with the 7.6 ultra and it must be on a new database. This is why we specify that NcO 7.6 ultra is for NEW INSTALLS ONLY. If you tried to installed 7.6 ultra with your old database it will not work you will have to either A) Delete your current database and make a new one or B) drop all of the tables from your current database, make sure all of your information matches your settings.php file inside your conf folder and then upload the sql file and make the tables that way. But with both methods you will have to make sure that your settings.php file inside of your conf folder matches the correct information of your database. Now assuming that you done all of this correctly when you patched you site did you use the NcO Ultra 7.6 Patch 3.1 or did you use another patch for 7.6. With NcO ultra you can only patch your site with approved NcO Ultra patches meaning you just cant go download the latest patch for 7.6 which happens to be 7.6.3.2b which you cant use to patch your site. You must use the use the NcO Ultra 3.1 patch that is found in the NukeCode section of the downloads. Now lets assume you patched with NcO Ultra 3.1 did you over ride all files while you was uploading the patch. You must over ride all existing files in the patch process. Also did you run the upgrade.php from your admin section of your site. You have to upload this to your site side of your ftp in the root of your site and run it from your admin area of your site. To do this simply go to your site.com login to your admin area the url should then be yoursite.com/admin.php just delete the admin.php off the url and add upgrade.php so the url looks like this yoursite.com/upgrade.php hit enter this will update your database tables. This should cover most of the reasons why your site is giving you these errors. If you have done all of the above correctly and still recieve this error please repost. But if you have done what I have specified then your site should be running properly with no errors. Finally if you did use your old database with the new install then you must either delete the site and start from fresh with all of the files for the site or over ride all files from the patch with the original 7.6 NcO Ultra files then install the database, then reupload the patch files again and run the upgrade.php . You just cant inject the tables just to let you know.
