Forum New & Firefox
Just need to know why it is that when I goto my forums when there are new post but the icon doesn't change for the catagories and once in the category it also doesn't change for new topics/replies. Second, Is there a firefox patch.Hopefully the latest and where can I get this.
This is a problem related to FireFox browser itself and has nothing to do with php-nuke. So browsers interrupt the data recieved from the servers in different ways. I would suggest that if you have this much of a problem with it that you switch browsers.
OK, I see what you are saying on the FF. Now with the Neew topics in the forums. I personally use IE for my browser, and it is not just me. It is others that use the forums and they all use IE as well. I have tried other themes to ee if that was the issue.
You are barking up a tree that is about to fall down.
Let me explain. PHPbb in PHPNuke is a port (pooly implimented I might add) of PHPBB2. This "problem" you speak of it a long standing glitch, that no one has really been able to resolve. The next version of PHP-Nuke (8.0) is supposed to give Nuke it's own forum which should (hopefully) resolve allot of the issues that have been longstanding, and create a whole new set of problems I am certain.
