50/50 success with patch 3.2
One site I just loaded 7.6.0 ultra, patched 3.1, and then patched 3.2 Had no issues with it. But the one I had all my stuff on it didn't work. Just have a white screen. I tried many sql things, along with double and triple checking settings.php. Also, The new sql that came with the latest patch had a duplicate setting on there and it didn't over wrote the old it is under the nuke_bbsessions. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong. And yes I did a complete backup.
Then restore the backup and then don't load the patch 3.1 first. You don't need it. Do not upload the entire patch at once. Only a little at a time. You probably corrupted a file somehow, or overlooked something in the settings.php file.
I had a friend successfully install patch3.2 over his patched 3.1 site worked fine. I concur with NukeCode probably had a corrupted file or files.
Yeah not sure what happened. But I have been up late working, and building these sites. I went to resorre my one site that was completly finished and found that I backed up the wrong one. I did to a fresh install with the patched Ultra, .31, to .32 and got everything back the way it was and it is running real smooth so far. As they always say here back up back up. I just want to add make sure you back up the right site. LOL. One of my people are getting a runtime error may i post that for help in your forums.
Runtime errors are visual basic issues, We do not deal with VB. Sorry.
