Nuke Sentinel 5.0 Buggy

Well this might not be the right place for this, but I have been having some problems with Sentinel, it is banning my members for accessing the index.php. I have no idea why its doing this. Someone please help me... Friend said to go back to pl.9 but not sure if I would be at risk with that.

Hey Donny Not sure why the script is banning members but is it giving you a reason for the ban?? The script should give you a reason for the ban.. A copy of the email would be helpful for the staff here to help you.. I have had sentinel running with no problems at all.. I am at the latest version..

Add ALL IP2C countries to your IP2C Database and it will be fixed.

It sucks that we have to burn 75,000 entries in our databases to get sentinel to work properly but that's what we have to do now. Evil or Very Mad

I have added no ip2 countries as of yet and the site works flawless.. Actually I have never heard about doing that.... But i will research that issue for my own knowledge...

^^^^^
Tis True.

so we have to go into ip2 country and import all ranges or does the updates handle all this..

You must import the ranges you want manually.

What I recommend is starting with the major ranges; US, UK, Ireland, Canada, Mexico, China, Japan, and build from there.

we learn something new everyday LOL I am adding the ranges now I will add all of them eventually thanks for the heads up...

well thanks nukecode and primus, but i downgraded back to pl.9
