hoping a resposne and solution from u guys who r expert. thnx in advance
1. The content module allows you to have HTML formatted pages (Limited HTML/No Javascripts) That can easily be changed, removed or edited in your site. An example would be on my friends site listed below;
http://darkyahoo.com/modules.php?name=Content
2. Postnuke is as far as I am concerned the only real fork of phpnuke. As far as which is better. Think about this, which community is larger? Both have their advantages and disadvantages. I personally wouldn't use postnuke. It does not have a built in forum (at least not when I quit using it, it didn't) There is are far less choices in addons, modules and blocks. You can NOT use 99.9% of the phpnuke stuff with postnuke. Your database wouldn't be interchangeable for the most part although some of it can be reused IF you want to spend allot for time going through the DB redoing stuff.
3. Find a theme with a matching phpbb template already built in.
4. The user login is part of the theme. You can not just add one. If you do not have the original theme sources then it would be just about impossible to add one yourself.
5. Upgrade to the latest bb2nuke
Thanks Seven for the prompt reply.

How do i go about upgrading the bb2nuke? I don't have much idea about this pl.
@Seven. although it may not be the proper place let me add one more problem here. i downloaded some user block and use it in my index page, but users cannot login from this block. i changed it with anothet user block, it works for some days, but now they can't login again. how to rectify it?
I have no idea what version of the phpbb port you are using, but thats ok.
Lets say you are at version 2.0.17 for the sake of this example.
The latest version is 2.0.21
You would simply need to download and upload the files for each phpbb upgrader running the update script for each one for every version of phpbb starting from 2.0.18 until you reach 2.0.21
That would include:
2.0.18
2.0.19
2.0.20
and finally 2.0.21
If you are starting from an earlier version then 2.0.17 then the same rules would apply.
how do i change the font and font colors in the index page (main menu/side navigation, stories etc)?
Through the theme's css file.
the sections will probably be called
story_title
story_content
box_content
box_title
block_content
block_title
or some variation there of.
