Message Module (no HTML)
I have installed 7.9 through fantastico and when I edit the message from the home page using the html source code editor and hit update it works fine. However when I hit the final save changes it deletes all of the html code and leaves only the words from the code and none of the images or any other thing called by the code except bolded fonts. Any ideas why that is happening?

Yes, it is the editor in that version....I installed it also the same way you did as a test site.....
The editor sucks....
Security purposes, it strips much of the html coding....
I haven't totally researched the subject, I'm certain their are other editors available, I've downloaded 1, but the install instructions look like a mutha to do.....
Fantastico is kind of an easy way out for installing Nuke....I'm finding more problems than good with it so far....
I suggest finding a better Version of Nuke, and installing it yourself..a Good FTP client and the setup is pretty easy and its done.......
You will probably be glad you did....
