Creating new pages
Hi All,
New here and need some help. As I am new to PHP-Nuke things seem to be alittle unclear.
I would like to know how to create pages using the Content Module. I created a test page and then when I clicked on Content I get a list of the pages created. I would like to be able to name the page "Rules" and then once clicked from the main menu pull the Rules page up instead of the list of pages under Content.
I have tried PHP-Nuke out many times and never got the hang of it's many features and how to utilize them to the fullest and then just gave up on using it and have tried just about every other CMS out there and I always find myself wanting to use PHP-Nuke as the themes and stuff were so much better. But the issues I have when trying to use it always stops me.
Thanks Much in Advance for any help on my help needed.
What version of Php-Nuke are you running ? And if you want to do it that way I would suggest Sommaire it is in our downloads section under modules.
You can get Sommaire by clicking
HERE. Be sure to backup all files and your database before installing any modules.
Sorry, forgot to post what version. I am currently running 7.9.
Ok I will try the Sommaire with the links and stuff. Have heard alot about it.
Anyways would I still use Content to create my pages?
THanks DataBaseError for the help
ALso I know this isn't relevant to my original question, but for the Downloads section, is there a way when someone goes to add a download to put a browse button so someone can upload a file via their computer instead of having to email it to me and then me upload it to the site and then add it to the database? Not sure if there is a mod for that or not.
Again Thanks,
Yes you can create your pages in the content module then link directly to them using Sommaire
