total user number different
there is a difference of the total (overall) users registered in my site displayed in the INFO block and at the bottom of the FORUM.
what could be the reason?
is it possible that somebody registered as INVISIBLE?

A link to your site would help. Also what version of php-nuke are you running and what version is your forums.

Your count is only one off and when they refer to hidden in the forums, that is just as option to not show the person as being online in the forums. To figure out the one user you would have to compare your users db and your bb2nuke users db and find the extra person. This poses no risk to your site so I would just leave it alone and save yourself some time.
