MAC Adress tracking and blocking

Hey all,

Is it possible to make a script for phpNuke that is able to find the MAC adress from the PC that is visiting your site? Something like sentinel now does for IP Adresses. The problem is that when you give somebody an IP-Ban, the next day the IP is changed. But changing the MAC adress is much harder. (I think). Anyway, not many will now how to do that. So it would make a much stronger ban.

Then off course, is it possible to see the MAC? If a visitor is on your site.

Yep, there is a guy I really want to block from our site. But here, the IP's are changed each day. So I don't really know what to do... Confused

NO simple and short answer.

Confused Long and hard is ok also... First: Is it possible?
It's really important for me and I learn fast Wink

I will thank you in advance

No it is not possible

Damn, Crying or Very sad

Is there another way then to block just one user when his IP changes? Probably not...

Thanx for the fast replies...

No there isnt with people using proxies now it is almost impossible to block someone that really wants to get to your website.
