install fine - how do i UNINSTALL and return to previous vs?
For whatever reasons, i installed/upgraded to newer vs and has caused issues...can i 'uninstall' the newer one and revert back to prev. version?

No you can't uninstall the new version, this is why we suggest that before doing any upgrades or adding any new modules that you backup your site both the files and the SQL data to your computer. That way if something like the above should happen then you can restore your site. You will have to start with over sorry.
