another sommaire question

sigh- sorry for asking something that seems to have been beat already, but I can't quite find the solution... and I did read a bunch of posts here about it.
phpNuke 8 patched w/ 3.3 sommaire 3.0
Firefox 2.00.12 IE 6
Basically i want my menu just like the one on this site, nukecode.com
I've edited my theme's style CSS and created .sommaire with font etc I want. I entered sommaire in the 'Class for categories' names' field. I've also tried blanking out the next field 'CSS class used for modules/external links'. I've tried several different approaches in the CSS files.
My results - In IE, the underline for links do not show- this is what I want. In firefox they do show- I don't want this.
It has to be something in my settings, because nukecode.com appears like I want in my browsers.
I have not been able to figure out how to keep the menus expanded at all. Seems to me that this is what the Dynamic Menu checkbox is for, but checking or unchecking this has no effect for me in either browser.

please don't yell at me too much, I'm a nube- but I'm trying. Smile

I figured I'd re-open this as my problem is similar.

Okay, you all probably know, but just to be clear.

Php-Nuke nCo Ultra 7.6
Sommaire 2.1.1

The problem is the Dynamic Menu.

In I.E. the Dynamic Menu works properly.

In Safari, and Chrome, It does not. It appears expanded by default.

I'm guessing there may be an update I'm not aware of, as I have seen sites using Sommaire with Dynamic Menu functioning properly in Safari and Chrome, and if you've noticed NukeCode isn't one of them. So were probably on the same page here...

I still don't use FF so I haven't tested there.

So, update, solution, error?

Thanks.

Dead unsupported module, mainly thats the problem. Sommaire 3.0 is ok with that but was killed in beta. So I say use at your own risk.

Understandable. Thanks for the reply.

And I'm glad you at least kept it in the downloads section.

Question, http://nukecode.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&op=getit&lid=691

This download reads Fix for 7.6.

I'm just curious, what is it exactly, all I see in the description is Admin files... not very descriptive. Did other versions not come with the admin files?

Thanks again, Wink

Im not 100% sure on this, but that particular patch fixed some errors in sommaire when using it with 7.6 I do not remember which ones.

The problem basically lies in the fact that sommaire is old enough that firefox and none of these other browsers were around when sommaire was released. Perhaps if time allows I might take some time and try to update it. I know it doesn't take well to certain versions of apache either.
