Search function and database..
Ok, I'm in great need of your great minds and knowledge.
I'm looking to create a database for a pyrotechnics website. This database would store a list of pyrotechnics forumulas which are made up of certain chemicals.
eg.
Red Star Formula
Potassium perchlorate.............................66
Red gum...........................................13
Lampblack......................................... 2
Strontium carbonate...............................12
Polyvinyl chloride................................2
Soluble Glutinous Rice Starch.....................5
I would like for the search feature to consist of 2 windows. The left window listing the chemicals and the right window to add the chemicals to search in. Something similar to this...
So this would mean that the usetr could come to the site and say I have this this, this and this chemical and the search would find any formula containing those chemicals in.
I would like to ask if there is a way to acheive this, if so could you give me some pointers and tips. Keep in mind I'm a complete noob at this, so easy is better. Some prewritten script that I could modify to my liking would be great.
