PHP Nuke 8.1
Ive just uploaded this software and changed the theme to Chronicles, see
http://69.89.31.200/~troutand/index.php
There are a few issues I have and they maybe theme related tho the first deffo isnt.
The blocks are missing from the right hand side. Worse then that as this is the first time ive used 8.1 I cant seem to modify or edit blocks to run HTML code, image links etc are dissapearing from the block of from the main page (centre with admin and password info when you first upload).
Has anyone got any ideas how to solve this. I originally thought it was a CHMOD problem but last night I changed all these to (777) with no effect.
Please help.

Oh and I made a similar post on here yesterday and it has gone???

You can NOT use most html tags in blocks anymore, you must phyically write the block using the correct php syntax.
Your post yesterday was posted in the HTML Only Forum that is clearly marked
NO PHP-Nuke Discussion so it was deleted by the moderator.
Thanks 7, ill have a go later tonight.
Can you take a look at my old web site, a one thats fooked and see if its possible to run shoutbox like the one I have in the left hand block on the new site version 8.1
This seemed to crash the whole site when i tried it two days ago.

If it off then try the second link

If you used shoutbox 8.52 and have a version of nuke greater then 6.5 then you shouldn't have any problems. Perhaps the coding of a block is not 100% correct. If you are using html in your blocks (a big no no) then perhaps you have conflicting code. I have seen that allot. Remember every attempt is made to make phpnuke 100% html 4.0 complaint. But we have no control over poorly coded html blocks.
Added, question. Is there anyway you can stopp the scrolling and index when the next shout is made, and can you alter the white background colour scheme, ive had a look at the code and i cant see how you can change this.
Its a nice bit of software mind.
I am not aware of any way to stop the scrolling. As far as the color options if you look at the shoutbox admin section there's an area called themes admininstration or something like that
Cheers 7. Ive sorted the colour scheme and it looks the business.
Thanks.
