User Login/ Security Code

I am currently having problems with the security code section on my login bar... I am getting a nice blank image box with the red x Sad

I recently installed JAG Online login/info block. After I input the wrong information I am then refered "Login Incorrect" page where the random number image is there and correct, why on the JAG block it is not, I do not know.

I received a similiar problem with an admin login block I installed a while back, I removed it shortly after I could not figure out the issue.

Also I would like to remove the security code all together, I have seen a few phpnuke pages without it. How do I go about doing that?

Open your config.php file look for

Code: :

$gfx_chk

change the number to the right of this to a 0. So it should look like this

Code: :

$gfx_chk = 0;

Save changes and upload and over ride the old config.php file.

I am going to assume that you are using a version of nuke that is newer then 6.9 The highest tested version that this block was tested on. I will alwo assume that your version of nuke is in all likelyhood higher then 7.5 I say this because the changed from 7.5+ are probably whats preventing this block from working as planned. Your choices are 1 turn off the security code as DataBaseError suggested, 2 use a different block, one that has been tested and works on 7.5+, 3 wait till I have some time and update it, since I didn't make the block originally it's gonna take some time.

My advice try CZ User Info 5 it's in our downloads section under codezwiz blocks. It's really nice has most of the same features you want AND is one file compaired to about 10. Sometimes less is more.

Thank you, now with that done I can ignore the password block with JAG.... and log in.

The JAG Online Login block still has the login code bar, is that something that can not be removed?

Also with JAG Online, while Im online and logged in, it says that there are 0 useres logged in, well heres a cut and paist of what I see.

I was thinking because this block is no longer supported on the authers website it may just be out of date, if that is the case, whats other great log in/info boxes

Now that Ive ran the install file for that Jag block, is there any east way to uninstall it?

Easiest way I have learned of getting rid of something I dont like is start at the end and work my way back to the beginning. Meaning take the instructions that you have when you installed it and work from the last instruction to the first. I would first backup your site and your MySQL database before doing anything.

Any Block security Code FOR PHP NUKE 7.6

hi im new at this so he we go is there any blocks that have security codes in its display as i would like one for my members login and for my admin login any help would be great with thanks.
