Users can't register?

I installed the nco 7.6 and patch, everything works great except the users will register and it says 'an email has been sent with activation link...' but the email never comes and they never get activated... how do I change this so they will activate their accounts? thanks in advance.

How about a link so we can see whats happening?

lol sry... http://nbr.onethorn.com

Ok THIS IS NOT A NUKE PROBLEM this is a domain issue. Don't confuse the 2.

I registered and got the email it gave me a link to:

Code: :
http://nbr.onethorn.com/modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=activate&username=Jae_9
&check_num=89b576bb58b11733683d28df82d4fcef

However when I clicked the link it took me to:

Code: :
http://onethorn.com/index.php?name=Your_Account&op=activate&username=Jae_9
&check_num=89b576bb58b11733683d28df82d4fcef

However when I put this in manually:
Code: :
http://onethorn.com/modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=activate&username=Jae_9
&check_num=89b576bb58b11733683d28df82d4fcef

I was able to activate my account.

If your site resides on http://onethorn.com then you CAN'T have a subdomain pointed to it as well. A subdomain would allow you to have 2 sites on the same server. You can't have a subdomain and a main domain pointed at the same site. When someone clicks an external link to the sub there is a high probability they will be redirected to the main domain. This topic will be moved to the correct catagory.

P.S. If your users are using HOTMAIL or Yahoo Mail then they will need to look in their bulk mail folders. Thats usually where the emails end up. I got mine. Smile

-Note: Are you using some sort of .htaccess to force external links to http://onethorn.com/index.php if so turn it off also or your users won't ever be able to register even if they are getting the emails. Either that or grab the Your Account No Email Hack 7.6 just make sure you do the edits to the index.php file for NukeSentinel. If you have the patch then you have the instructions. -- NukeCode

Ok I just want to clarify, and I'm sorry if this is redundant but I need to make sure I understand.

I have one site at The Softer Side of Sports Entertainment
and one at Sensations from the softerside

Now if I am logged into The Softer Side and go to Sensations I am still logged in, is there no way to have them on the same server, having one as a sub domain and have them use seperate user databases?

In the sensations user table there are only two users but anyone from the Softer Side that goes to Sensations is already logged in, there's no way to avoid the crossover?

thanks Jae, I appreciate it Smile
