what do i need????
A friend gave me webspace on their domain its unlimited so i figured it would make a good site well here is the question if i get php nuke do i still need MySQL and Apache if they have it on their servers? Cause im on 56k and i pretty sure thats not gonna cut it to be my own host. And can you even run MySQL on 56k? so i was just wondering if all i needed was phpnuke or what ? thx alot

The server has to be equipped to handle PHP and MySQL. If the server can handle that then you are fine. As far as running a site off a 56k modem that would be impossible. We dont suggest anyone try to run a site off their internet connection. As far as what you will need I suggest that you read
this it will explain all you as a beginner will need.
Admin Note: Uploading nuke with a 56k modem will be a long and arduous task.... Good Luck
