I wish it was just a double click
For starters I just want to say thanks for such a cool place to get info and stuff. I'm new to PHP nuke cms and I have been experimenting with several versions trying to find one that would be newbie friendly and so far the ver. ultra model seems to be it. Now what I would like to know is which themes are actually comparable with it since some of the sites I have looked at say "this skin works with this and then you try them and it doesn't".
I realize that not everything can be double click and end with an .exe for self install but I still have a big learning curve when it come to Nukes and PHP. I did use the search feature here to try to solve one of my problems but some how I guess I didn't hit the spot.
A lot of nice themes out there and some of the default ones just sometimes dont cut it . Well thanks for this opportunity; I apologize if I am in the wrong section.

Dont we all wish it were that easy... Well most themes that say they are compatiable with php-nuke are. Notice I said php-nuke cause you have postnuke and platinum so only download themes that say they are for php-nuke. If you are running Chatserv patched 3.1 on your site then make sure that you do the proper edits to the theme.php file of each theme so all of the blocks show up on your site. You need to also make sure that you properly upload the theme to the themes folder. You just done upload the theme after you unzip it if you do and change your site from the default folder to that one you will break your site. If you follow those basic rules you will not break your site.
