Security Issues - Get help in securing your PHP-NUKE Installation.
PLEASE HELP!!!
I am using PHP NUKE Platinum, and I forgot my admin login id, and password. How do I get it back, or setup a new one? Please help. THNAKS!!!!
Cpanel >> PhpMyAdmin >> Choose your database >> look for the _authors table browse into that choose your name click on the edit option. Look for the field pwd then to the right you will see the value which should be random letters and numbers highlight those letters and numbers and hit backspace to delete that. Then type in your new password that you want dont use more than 10 characters then look to the left you will see a drop down box click that then go up to MD5 then next click on go at the bottom of the page to accept the changes. This is assuming you have cpanel as your control panel. This is also assuming that you dont have nukesentinel with .htaccess enabled. If so you will have to do additional steps to get back into your admin panel.

Thanks man, as soon as I looked at that, I figured out my username. That is the only think I really forgot, I had a pretty good idea what my password was. Thanks man.
