question about deleting phpnuke platinum and installin?help?
hey fellas.i massed up my site.so i am thinking of deleting eeverything and install the latest version of php nuke platinum again.can someone tell me how can i delete everything all models block including the whole phpnuke platinum that i have right now?
PHPnuke Platinum is dead, no more support I would not use that any more.
However a great pack of those who worked on it are developing Nuke-Evolution www.nuke-evolution.com Awesome package just released Beta 3

If you want to get back to a Basic PHP-Nuke 7.6 Patch Level 3.1
then do what I did, I created a DownGrade from Platinum to PHPnuke 7.6

You can delete a site one of 2 ways one being thru the ftp which will take you a bit and the other being thru your cpanel assuming this is what you have as your control panel. I will explain the easiest which is thru the Cpanel. Login to your cpanel go to filemanager click on the public_html folder to go inside of your public_html this is assuming that you have your root named this. You will see all of your core files and folders click on the name of the file or folder and NOT the folder itself look up to the right hand corner of the page you will see some options you want to choose the option to delete this folder and all items under it. That will delete only the contents of the selected folder. You will need to do this for each folder and file you want to delete just remember to click on the name to the right of the folder and not the folder itself. Once you do that go back to the main page of your Cpanel click on MySqlDatabases then go into phpmyadmin select your database. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Select all this will select all of the database tables then click the drop down box to DROP then confirm you want to drop all of the tables. Then go back to your MySqlDatabases page and delete your database and your database username and make a new one and upload your new site. If you have downloads in your public_html folder it is a good idea to keep them this will keep you from having to upload them again.

ok now that i delete everything.should i install php nuke or php nuke platinum? where can i get the latest ?
I would suggest that you install php-nuke 7.6 ultra then download the 3.1 patch. We dont suggest you use anthing higher than 7.6 because of security holes in those builds that the 3.1 patch will not fix. You can find 7.6 ultra in then downloads section of this site.
: i cant find any php-nuke 7.6 ultra in this sites download section.can u give me the exact link?i also deleted the phpbb from cpanel cause it was old version too.where can i get new version?any any guids on how to install the on cpanel?
