Nuke newbies and points
Hi
I have tried changing user groups in the Groups module and allocated a low points count to see whether or not this would show up.
I also allocated points in the list given for posting in forums etc and updated ( all were showing 0 )
when I check in the forums my users are still sitting with "Newbie" status.
How can I get rid of this and or change this newbie label ?
Also where can I see where the points are set for whatever other user labels this nuke has ?
I am using:
Nuke 4.4.1
module is nsn groups

It's totally impossible for you to be using nuke 4.4.1 There is no such thing Odds are you are the server you are on is using PHP 4.4.1 There is a huge difference between PHP and PHP-Nuke. I would suggest learning them. PHP is the backend software and scripting language that PHP-Nuke is written in.
This is why analyze is dangersous in newbie hands.
NSN groups what version theres about 50 of them, and were not mind readers.
The reason your still showing as a newbie in the forums is because you never set the ranks in forum administration.

your right.. my Nuke is 7.6
I cant find where it says what nsn group version in the files but in my admin control section ther's an edit groups 1.6.4 as well as a user's groups.
Is this 1.6.4 the version # ?
To me backend has always been the side of me not in the front
but thanx to all your assistance here I'll hopefully be more familiar with this stuff soon
