Admin, But newbie??
Hello. i have a question. I am main admin of the site i am setting up...
so what i dont understand is, why i'm not admin when i post in forum...
It says i'm a newbie... Heelp!
By default the only "admin" it will show in the forums as an admin is God. Have the God go into forums in the admin control panel. Then under User Admin he will need to go into permissions and set your rank as Adminstrator. He will also need to go into Management under the same heading as above and set your rank or title as Admin. That will set you up to have admin permissions in the forums. Make sure he saves changes for each one that he edits. He will have to look up the name under each sub catergory so he needs to look up your name as it appears as an admin.
That wasnt easy to find!! It was under "user admin" and "management"...
I am not used to this, i have been using e107 (still am)
So there is alot of things in phpnuke that could have been done better.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction though.
