Admin System login
hi
I'm new to Phpnuke
I downloaded nCo Ultra 7.6 uploaded it and created a super user, everything seemed to work fine
i used the Ourscripts shoutbox and that worked too
next i downloaded nCo patched 3.1 and replaced the necessary files and ran upgradedb.sql
i can logon using the admin, then i get the Your Account module isnt active
i get the message only registered users can post in the shoutbox
and when i try to logon to the admin section (admin.php) i fill out the login form click login and then the form appears again
so all my modules are inactive and i cant login to the admin section
Please help... i tried to include the necessary info
Start by logging into your control panel then go to phpmyadmin (I am not going to detail every step of this) Find your admin account and click browse. In the password field you will see a b unch of gibberish retype your password and in the dropdown box next to it select MD5 and then click go.
Next clear your browser cookies. Then login in
http://yoursite.com/admin.php then go to Administration>>> Modules and start by setting Your Account to All Visitors. Then you can go through this same screen and change the permissions the modules you want to appear to ALL users.
We don't support the our scripts shoutbox but I do believe it is configured like the Quiecomm Shoutbox. In it's admin panel you will find allow anonymous to post, if it's set to off then nonresgistered users won't be able to post.
