"There seems to be a problem with the MySQL server"
Hi,
I keep getting this error when I try and run the
www.XXXX.com/admin.php
to set.
Ive created the database using myadmin, that all seems fine.
Ive aquired all the MySQL database information from my host.
dbasename, username, password etc and entered these into the settings.php.
I had this problem a few months ago and gave up, this time I really need to sort it.
Can anyone help, ive been through all the forum searches etc but to no avail.
The version im using is 7.6 ultra dloaded from this site.
Any help much appreciated.

Just found out some more info on other thread sorry tried to delete this but it wont.
