News in Homepage
Some how it locked itself. I can't activate it. It is deactivated. I can still post news...but visitors can't comment on it, it says module isn't active...
???????
It is in Bold in the admin modules section....but it is deactivated with a key icon next to it...
7.8 is the version....
Try deleting and reuploading your news module.

Will I lose the news currently there?
I swear I didn't mess with this at all....lol....
I can comment, everything as the admin....I tested the site on another computer (created a new member) , logged in, messed with a few things, tried to comment, and it told me of the error...I then checked the admin area and sure enough it was deactivated.....
I really don't know how long its been like that....
No you won't hurt the stories they will be fine. They are stored in the database,

Didn't work Sevens....
The activate icon still isn't active....and News is still deactivated....
I tried it twice......deleted and redownloaded the News module....
Its locked in the deactivated mode....
As I try to troubleshoot this, I am beginning to think when we did the Quiecom shoutbox....
Then you will see admin, blocks, images, modules, you will need to upload the contents of those folders to your site.
It was the admin module that was affected.....
It's not the shoutbox I can almost gaurrantee you that.
One module rarely will effect another.
I went to the site I got the version of nuke from.....
Didn't know what I was doing but got it fixed.....! I reactivated it in mysql ......
Hopefully it keeps activated......lol
