#I don't even know how to begin this. Today is a very sad day for the family and friends of Wendy Cornell aka m4id3n. For m4id3n passed in her sleep last night from the effects of cancer. She was 26. Although she came across as a hard person, actually had a very big heart and cared deeply about people. This showed in everything she did. She got a big thrill out of helping others, from simple tasks like explaining how to set up your computer to use booters to more difficult things like helping other webmasters set up their websites. She rarely ever said no, even when she had to take time away from her own personal life to do these things. - m4id3n was an absolutely beautiful young woman, not just in the face and body, but in mind also. She genuinely cared about other people. Even in the world of Yahoo! where there are so many fakers and pretenders. She cared. She would do everything to try and remember peoples birthdays and other important events in her friends lives. Just so she could wish them well.
m4id3n loved Yahoo! unlike allot of webmasters and web mistresses who think Yahoo needs to be defeated for some strange reason. But what she loved more was making websites and using booters. She knew allot about both and came to me one day and asked me if I would let her use a domain name I owned called DarkYahoo.com to make a booter site. I thought she was nuts. But said OK go for it, i'll even get you the hosting. The rest as most of you know by now is history. She turned DarkYahoo into something few people could have, due to her unwavering dedication to it. Many times very late at night I would see her lit up on Yahoo! with the word Busy in her status. I knew what she was doing but had to ask anyway. Her reply was usually the same "erff, what the hell do you think I am doing, working on DarkYahoo". She loved this website, the other admins and of course the members.
m4id3n leaves behind a 7 year old daughter, 3 brothers and allot of friends who will miss her wit as well as her intelligence, she was one of the smartest people I have ever known, and one of the smartest people I will ever know. She could have been anything, what she choose to do was work her ass off.
The things I will miss most about her was how cute she was when she was mad, her face would turn red as a beet and she would just haul off and whack you, not hard enough to hurt you (which I am sure she could have if she wanted too) just hard enough to get your attention. See what few people didn't know is m4id3n was a mute, so yelling at you when she was upset wasn't an option. But she sure had a way of getting her point across. Sometimes it was a light smack in the cheek others it was a shoe through from across the room. I was usually glad her aim wasn't that good.
m4id3n loved art and it showed on her own body as she had 19 tattoos and various piercings. It also showed in other ways. Mainly on DarkYahoo, DarkAssault and various other projects she was involved with. She made phpnuke themes for NukeCode.com, loved to draw and was also an accomplished tattoo artist, something she had to give up due to the cancer.
She often put the needs of others above her own, as I was surfing the web today I came across a post on another website nukescripts.net where she had wished someone else well through surgery. Someone she didn't even know, just because she was that caring a person.
Mostly though she had two passions. Her daughter and DarkYahoo. Sometimes it was hard to judge which one she loved more. Although I know her daughter came before anything else. She would have closed this site in an instant if her daughter wanted her too. But her daughter loved this website too. I can recall many a time going to visit them and seeing her daughter on the site just because she wanted to look at it and listen to the music. So with that I personally make a promise to her daughter that DarkYahoo will remain if I have anything to say about it. Not just because of the people, but because of the hard work of one very special lady, the admins and of course one very beautiful seven year old girl who deserves to have the opportunity to continue to look at her mommies work as often as she would like. To the other admins and crew of DarkYahoo I ask one thing. Never forget the person who made all this possible as she was an absolutely great young woman.--comments-->0--1825--11
